Math:
●• We are learning how to add and subtract fractions (including mixed numbers) with like and unlike denominators-- including renaming with subtracting mixed numbers.
TEST on +/- FRACTIONS ON WEDNESDAY
●• Next… we will compare fractions by getting common denominators or converting to decimals
●• Math Pentathalon: Stars and Bars

Reading:
●• We have finished chapter 19 in Tuck Everlasting – we will finish the novel next week for sure!
●• In Technology, students are creating PowerPoint presentations with 3 pros and 3 cons for living forever and what they would choose to do if they were Winnie. They are learning about how to create hyperlinks as well.

Religion:
●• We will spend one more week discussing the Ten Commandments
●• March Prayer: Apostle’s Creed
Vocab/Spelling:
●• We will finally pick up with Unit 12, test next Friday.

English:
●• We have finally finished our persuasive writing pieces – look for these in you child’s Thursday folder! We are going to create and tape our own commercials (using persuasion) over the next 2 weeks!●• Simple and compound subjects and predicates
●• English EXTRA CREDIT due next Friday – see attached!Social Studies:
●• We will have a quiz over the Southern colonies on Tuesday. Study your notes!
